Guided Tours and Self-Guided Group Visits

The roughly twenty-five art exhibitions and collection installations presented in the BAM galleries every year offer faculty and students the chance to engage visually, emotionally, and intellectually with art and discover how it can illuminate or provide a context for their different disciplines.

To arrange for tours of special exhibitions led by UC Berkeley graduate students, contact the BAM/PFA Education department at (510) 642-3072 or bampfaed@berkeley.edu.

To schedule a self-guided group visit, call the museum operations office at (510) 642-5243, or send e-mail to sgvisits@berkeley.edu. Three weeks’ notice is encouraged.

Classes may also wish to take advantage of regularly scheduled public tours of current exhibitions, usually held on Thursdays at 12:15 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Check our calendar for the exact schedule.

Note: BAM/PFA waives tour fees for UC Berkeley classes, and admission to the galleries is always free for UC Berkeley students, faculty, and staff.
