It's So Nice to Have a Wolf Around the House & Other Stories

Recommended for age 4 and older. A collection of great stories on film: In the animated version of Harry Allard's popular book, It's So Nice to Have a Wolf Around the House, an old man discovers that his new and furry housekeeper is a wolf. A boy dreams of escape on a winged pony in The Silver Pony, based on the book by Lynd Ward. What Mary Jo Shared by Janice May Udry dramatizes the dilemma of a shy young girl, while Hug Me by Pattie Stren follows a lonely porcupine who cannot find anyone willing to hug him. Plus the classic children's film Golden Fish, produced by Jacques Cousteau, in which skillful editing creates suspense when a cat threatens a goldfish.
