The charming and disarming films of Georges Méliès, the first and still the best magician of the movies, combined live-action and animation, trick photography and trompe-l’oeil, and marvelous color tinting. This program of archival prints takes us to the moon and back, through the fantastic and still wonderful worlds of this early master of the cinema.
