The People of the Po, a documentary on the villages on the banks of the Po and the people who live in them, looks forward to Il grido. Sanitation Department is a day in the life of Rome's street cleaners, filmed chronologically from dawn to dusk. In Lies of Love, the rather ordinary private lives of the stars of the fumetti—photographed comic strips—are contrasted with their public images to humorous effect. Superstition catalogs illegal superstitious practices in a small village in the Marches. The Villa of Monsters is a film of monstrous sculpted human figures in the park of an ancient villa at Bomarzo, near Viterbo. In Suicide Attempt, a segment from the neorealist omnibus Love in the City, Antonioni interviews three would-be suicides for love. Plus Vertigine and Seven Reeds, One Suit.
