The exhibition Earth coincides with the publication of a new book of Cha’s writings, Exilée and Temps Morts: Selected Works, edited by Constance M. Lewallen and published by UC Press. To celebrate the release of the book, there will be a book signing and reception in the BAM galleries, followed by a rare screening of Cha’s seminal film/video installation Exilée in the Museum Theater at 7:30 p.m.
