Home Movie Day

Dust off those home movies that are buried in your closet, basement, or grandma's attic and bring them to the Pacific Film Archive Library and Film Study Center.

Don't let your movies decay - don't throw them away - take them to Home Movie Day!

Film check-in begins at 11:00 am. Screenings begin at noon.
Free and open to the public. All ages encouraged.
We welcome 8mm, Super8, and 16mm films, VHS tapes, and DVDs.

Home movies offer a unique view of decades past, and are an essential part of our personal, community, and cultural history. This is the fifth annual Home Movie Day, an event celebrated by various venues all over the world. PFA Library will offer a "film clinic" for assessing the condition of older films and will provide information about how to properly care for and store family films and videos.

PFA Library is located inside the Berkeley Art Museum at 2621 Durant Avenue, between College and Telegraph Avenues, Berkeley, California.
