Hatch Day on the Outdoor Screen

Hatch Day returns to the big screen at BAMPFA! Annie, the Bay Area's beloved peregrine falcon who has raised young on UC Berkeley’s Campanile since 2016, has a new mate Archie…and four eggs!

The eggs are predicted to hatch on Wednesday, April 24, so stop by BAMPFA's outdoor screen to (hopefully) catch a glimpse of the new chicks emerging during the livestream broadcast from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

9:00 AM–5:00 PM | A team of falcon experts from Cal Falcons will be on site to share real-time insights about this special moment

11:00 AM–1:00 PM | ASL interpretation available

11:00 AM–2:00 PM | Native Bird Connections will be on site with a live raptor!

11:00 AM–3:00 PM | Berkeley Public Library reps will be available to answer questions and provide kid-friendly projects

4:00 PM–5:00 PM | ASL interpretation available

BAMPFA is proud to partner with Cal Falcons, the UC Berkeley Museum of Vertebrate Zoology, Berkeley Public Library, Golden Gate Raptor Observatory, East Bay Regional Park District, Native Bird Connections, and Institute for Bird Populations to present Hatch Day. We hope you join us to welcome these new arrivals!
